St Peter's Memorial Plaques 1742 onwards

Near to this Place are Interned the Bodies of
 four of the Children of John and Sufanna 
Syddebotham of this Town viz 
Sufanna who dyed Auguft the 31st 1727
 Ann who dyed January the 16th 1727 
Peter who dyed January the 25th 1731 
Jane who dyed Auguft the 9th 1755 
And also John Kirkby Druggist their Son 
inlaw who dyed October the 6th 1759 
Mary Bagnall their Grand Daughter
 Decr 14th 1769
 The aforesaid John Syddebotham Mar 25th 1773 
Aged 78.
 Sufanna his Wife March 10th 1774 
Aged 77. 
Sufanna Kirkby Widow Died Oct 10th 1812 Aged 81

surgeon in this town
he died 7th January 1856,
aged 87 years.
he exhibited a Christian
spirit by deeds of benevolence,
the blessing of him that was
ready to perish came upon him,
and he caused the widows heart 
to sing for joy.

who died 2nd December 1873,
aged 72 years

to the memory
of Ralph Sutton, esquire
magistrate of this Borough
who died on the 20th of July 1857,
aged 79 years.
a firm believer in divine revelation,
he endeavoured
to walk humbly in the footsteps of his master,
and by deed of unostentatious kindness
he manifested the spirit of a Christian.
His mortal remains
are deposited in a vault in this church,

Isaac faulkner, ESQ

After a life of uninterrupted friendship,
they repose together,
awaiting in sure and certain hope,
the morning of the resurrection
Elizabeth
relict of the above Ralph Sutton,
and sister of Isaac Faulkner,
died august 9th 1860
aged 86 years.
"this woman was full of good works and almsdeeds which she did." ACTS 9.26.
